DualEntry

Verdict · Editorial assessment
A core-accounting challenger to compare when multi-entity visibility, receivables/payables and close automation are the main replacement case. Its published plan boundaries make entity count and revenue-recognition complexity useful early filters. Do not evaluate the headline “AI ERP” as a complete scope promise: request a demonstration of your accounting policies, exception review and consolidation needs on the precise proposed tier.
What the vendor describes
- DualEntry presents general ledger, multi-entity management, reporting, revenue recognition, payables, receivables and budgeting/forecasting as parts of its accounting suite. Source ↗
- DualEntry’s pricing page describes unlimited users/transactions across tiers, with up to three entities in the base plan, up to 20 in Plus and unlimited in Ultra; advanced revenue modules and SAML are listed for Ultra. Source ↗
Pricing and commercial scope
The checked pricing page publishes plan structure but no numeric subscription amount; each tier directs buyers to a demo. Request an itemised quote covering the chosen entity allowance, revenue modules, implementation and bank/technology connections. Unlimited users or transactions does not establish a zero-cost entity upgrade or an all-inclusive services budget.
Pricing status: Published tiers; quote required. Request implementation scope and delivery timing in a separate quote.
Limitations of this assessment
- Base-tier revenue-recognition modules are explicitly limited. International entity consolidation and advanced features need tier-level verification.
- The extracted multi-book comparison includes a “Soon” label and imperfect alignment. Treat multi-book availability as unresolved until demonstrated and contractually scoped; do not count roadmap wording as delivered functionality.
European requirements to verify
- To verify: Multi-currency and international-growth positioning do not demonstrate local European accounting compliance. Confirm jurisdiction-specific VAT, statutory statements, e-invoice outputs and any required multi-book support, including its current release status.Source ↗
- To verify: Contractual hosting locations, subprocessors, international transfers and retention need a DPA review; the checked product pages do not establish suitability for a particular European entity.
Integration boundaries
- To verify: The pricing page advertises over 13,000 bank and technology integrations and live bank feeds. That combined count does not identify native connectors for your stack. Verify coverage, aggregator dependencies, permissions, sync direction and settlement reconciliation on the intended tier.Source ↗
