A modular choice when accounting should sit close to sales, purchasing, expenses and inventory rather than beside them in disconnected tools. The important comparison is the selected hosting model and plan, not simply “Odoo versus accounting software.” A single-app deployment, an all-app online subscription and a customised multi-company system have materially different integration and implementation boundaries; choose the operating model first.

Pricing and commercial scope
The extract shows a $0 One App Free offer but overlapping monthly/yearly and discounted paid-price text; no single paid amount is reliable enough to quote. Confirm billing cadence, currency and renewal price in the configurator. Implementation, Odoo.sh hosting, scanning credits and custom-code maintenance are excluded.
Pricing status: Public plans; paid amount unresolved. Request implementation scope and delivery timing in a separate quote.
Limitations of this assessment
- Odoo Online Standard does not host custom modules; Odoo.sh or self-hosting introduces a different maintenance responsibility.
